

Depending on the artistic merit of the card you're scanning will depend on how much the OCR software gets right. The software has been based around a Rolodex design and new cards are alphabetically stored. Cards can be scanned in colour or mono, in batches (about 5 per minute) and once imported you can change, alter or export details to a number of software packages. No additional power cable needed and therefore great to take back and forth to the office. Powered and connected to the PC via a USB cable, the unit's very portable. Since you have Cardscan 600cx, I guess you have an old version of Cardscan Software as well.The Windows software was still unable to locate and load the driver from the drivers folder, but I was able to manually instruct Device Manager to look for the new driver in the location where I had copied it, and it loaded the CardScan scanner, which is now operable.Do not choose open! When downloading the new software, choose to save the file to your computer. Do not connect the CardScan scanner to your computer until upgrade installation is completed, or the software will not function correctly.
